about
Wren’s highly anticipated single “Want Me Too”, produced by Maryam Qudus of Spacemoth, is sure to have her fans pressing repeat with this powerful pop masterpiece. She collaborated with Cody Rhodes, (Drums), Kira Roessler of Black Flag (Bass), Jessie Pariseau (Guitar), and Jacob Yoffee (Strings). The track was mixed and mastered by Fred Paragano of Paragon Studios in Nashville.
Wren elaborates on the indie-pop anthem, “During the most pivotal moments of my life, the ones where I grow the most, I inevitably turn to music as a means in reflecting on my deepest desires. The desire for deeper human connection, to accept the fact that time is an illusion, and letting go of the insecurities that have followed me around all my life, instantiated at a young age.”
“’Want Me Too’ is a journey, no, an anthem, in finding who you are and accepting your identity in this world, without shame. It is at once a coming-out celebration of accepting my bisexuality and recently diagnosed ADHD after being raised in a strict, normalized household and surrounded by a society that continuously claims that both are a myth.
I am ready to step out of the shadows into who I was meant to be, and I hope you are too.

WANT ME TOO
LYRICS – Harmony Guides
VERSE 1
I don’t want to hide
I just wanna walk the sunny side
With you and with your shadow
Sparks that only blind and paralyze my mind
I can’t ignore what’s right in front of me
And I can’t ignore how you’ve been frontin’ me
CHORUS 1
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
I can not see if it is real
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
But I can not see if it is real
Why don’t you show me how you feel
VERSE 2
Let me ease your mind
There’s no hourglass in sight
Only you and your fear of growing up
Separate the time from what is actually on your mind
There’s nobody forcing anything
And i wanna be the one to set you free
CHORUS 2
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
I can not see if it is real
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
But I can not see if it is real
Why don’t you show me how you feel
BRIDGE
Never gonna play the game that you want me to play (you want me to play)
I’m over that over that now (Over that now)
Always gonna try and see what’s in our fate (What’s in our fate)
So show me now show me now (Show me now)
So show me now show me now (Show me now)
CHORUS 3
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
I can not see if it is real
I know you
I know
I know you want me too
But I can not see if it is real
Why don’t you show me how you feel
Why don’t you show me why you show my how you feel (x4)
